You tear a momentary rift in space at a point you can see within 40 meters of you, creating a violent gravitational implosion. All creatures within 8 meters of that point must make a Reflex defend roll contested by your Magic skill.
-
On a failure, the creature is pulled up to 4 meters toward the center of the collapse.
-
The creature takes Physical damage equal to the margin of failure + 5d4 from gravitational crushing.
-
At the start of the creature’s next turn, it must spend 1 AP to stabilize before taking any other action. This AP is lost from its pool regardless of other abilities.
Stunts
Event Horizon
The radius of the collapse increases to 12 meters. Creatures that fail by 3 or more are pulled directly to the center of the collapse rather than only 4 meters toward it.
Singularity
Any creature pulled to within 1 meter of the collapse’s center must make an additional Fortitude for the difficulty of your Magic level or become Restrained for 1 turn as the residual gravitational forces lock them in place.
Inverse Field
Instead of pulling creatures inward, you may choose to invert the collapse, pushing all creatures outward by 4 meters. Creatures that fail are also knocked Prone.
Resonant Collapse
If two or more creatures fail their check, each of them takes an additional 1d6 Physical damage for each other creature that also failed, as they collide and are crushed against one another.
Spatial Rupture
The area within the collapse radius becomes difficult terrain until cleared, as the rift leaves behind warped, unstable ground. Structures and objects in the area take double damage from the collapse.
