You unleash a storm of conjured weapons in a 15-meter cone originating from you. When you cast the spell, choose Bludgeoning, Piercing, or Slashing. The weapons may take any mundane form appropriate to that damage type, but their form is cosmetic and does not use a weapon’s damage dice, Required Might, range, properties, ammunition, or Weapon Techniques.

Every other creature in the cone must make a Reflex defend roll contested by your Magic skill. On a failure, it takes Physical damage of the chosen type equal to 2d4 + your Focus skill level + its margin of failure. On a success, it takes no damage. This is the spell’s complete damage formula; do not add another magical-damage bonus. Physical Defense applies normally. The conjured weapons vanish immediately after the spell resolves.

Stunts

Piercing Volley

A creature whose Reflex defend roll fails by a margin of 4 or more is also Dazed until the end of its next turn from the force of impact. This is a physical effect and does not require a Mental Consequence.

Elemental Barrage

When you cast Conjure Barrage, you may spend 1 extra Mana and choose Fire, Frost, or Lightning. Each creature that fails its defend roll takes an additional 1d4 damage of the chosen elemental type in addition to the spell’s Physical damage. This does not give Conjure Barrage the Elemental keyword or apply the chosen element’s additional effect.

Scatter and Shred

You may increase the cone’s length from 15 meters to 20 meters. Creatures in the cone make their Reflex defend rolls with Advantage. A creature that fails also bleeds, taking 1 Physical damage at the start of its next turn.

Phantom Barricade

After you cast Conjure Barrage, residual energy lightly obscures the area of its cone until the start of your next turn. Enemies have Disadvantage on ranged attacks whose line passes through that area.

Signature Armory

If you shape the barrage as a weapon covered by one of your Fight or Shoot specializations, or as a weapon you are carrying, each creature that fails its defend roll takes bonus Physical damage of the spell’s chosen type equal to your Fight or Shoot skill level, whichever is higher. This does not grant the spell any of that weapon’s properties or Weapon Techniques.
